LeBron James Returns to Lakers after Missing 13 Games

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers recently stated that he sought the advice of a doctor to treat a damaged tendon in his right foot. The doctor, whom James called “the LeBron James of feet,” counseled him against surgery and suggested round-the-clock therapy and training aid in his recovery.

Even though two other physicians suggested surgery, James followed the advice of the specialist he saw, and he recovered completely in just four weeks. It allowed him to return to the Lakers’ lineup in time for their last playoff push.

Lakers Lose Again

James put up 19 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in his return game, helping the Lakers keep their playoff chances alive. While his rhythm had not yet returned to where it had been before the accident, James was certain that he would continue improving as he recovered his form.

The Lakers’ performance without James had been impressive, with the team going 8-5 and climbing the standings. Nonetheless, James’ comeback has given the squad a much-needed lift on and off the court.

As the regular season ends, the Lakers must find methods to rally behind James and reintroduce him into the lineup. Yet, with his professional understanding and experience, James can assist the club in rediscovering their rhythm and making a solid postseason run.
