USFL schedule: Week 2 games, TV channel, dates, time, and scores in the USFL
The USFL kicked out in earnest last weekend, with a Saturday opener. It is between the Birmingham Stallions and the New Jersey Generals. Also, followed by a triple-header on Easter Sunday with the rest of the league. With games beginning Friday night, we’ll have a full weekend of USFL action this weekend. Moreover, all eight teams will be playing with the Stallions, Gamblers, Breakers, and Bandits to build on Week 1 wins. Also, half of the league will be 500 this week, with all four winners. And all four losers play each other later on. It’s an interesting twist on Week 2, but it leaves the 0-1 teams in a tough spot. It is early in the season, so there are no games that must be won. However, based on the NFL’s success rate for 0-2 teams, the Panthers, Generals, Maulers, and Stars are all playing with that potential.
The following is all you need to know about the second week of the USFL:

USFL schedule: Both of these teams were beaten in Week 1 in a number of different ways. The Panthers were on the verge of pulling off a huge comeback. Despite quarterback Shea Patterson’s early struggles, he improved in the second half but fell just short. During their first-day encounter, the Generals ping-ponged with the Stallions, finally losing on a last-second drive.
The Generals began their USFL season with a pass-heavy system, led by receiver Randy Satterfield, who had a strong debut. The Generals went away from quarterback Luis Perez in the passing game in the second half, giving De’Andre Johnson more reps, and they’ll be hoping to nail down their consistency following a string of offensive struggles in Week 1.

Maulers vs Stars
12 p.m. ET
Fox TV

Moreover, the Maulers and Stars are both hoping for their first victory after their respective defenses let up 23 points against the Breakers in Week 1. They’ll be aiming to rebound against the Maulers, who only scored three points against the Breakers in Week 1. After a poor first half against New Orleans, Bryan Scott will have to improve his start for the Stars, although he showed flashes of potential in Week 1. Meanwhile, the Maulers are trying to figure things out. After they went viral for cutting running back De’Veon Smith, they couldn’t muster up any offense against the bandits. This is the type of performance that will not be tolerated in Week 2. They go up against a Stars team that is clearly extremely talented and got off to a bad start.
Stallions vs Gamblers
7 p.m.
FS1 TV
Fox Sports Go, and Fubo TV for a free trial
The Stallions are another squad that does simply what it takes to win. Birmingham turned to backup quarterback J’Mar Smith when Alex McGough went down with an injury. Smith pulled up a great second-half performance, including a game-winning drive late. Also, the Stallions have a high ceiling, as their 28-24 victory over a supposedly strong Generals team showed.

Breakers vs Bandits
3 p.m.
NBC TV
Peacock, Fubo TV in a free trial for Live streaming
USFL schedule: Nothing beats a little regional rivalry on a Sunday afternoon. Both the Breakers and the Bandits are coming off Week 1 victories, and they appear to be the league’s strongest two teams. Jordan Ta’amu passed for 185 yards after being benched for much of Tampa Bay’s Week 1 rout of the Maulers. This week, the Bandits could need even more from him, as they face a Breakers team that scored 23 points in Week 1. Afterward, quarterback Kyle Sloter led the Breakers. Jordan Ellis ran for another 89 yards after he passed for 150. In Week 1, New Orleans had the most balanced offense in the USFL. Also, expect it to have used against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will likely value ball possession.
