Liberty League Tennis: On Saturday, the women’s tennis team faced RPI.

Liberty League Tennis: The Ithaca College women’s tennis team returned to Liberty League play on Saturday. And it’s falling 7-2 to RPI at the Sharp Courts. The loss reduced IC’s overall record to 10-7, while the Liberty League record plummeted to 3-4. Also, the Engineers started the day by winning the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches. Moreover, Caroline Herz and Kayla Shenk, the Bombers’ No. 3 doubles combination. And defeated the RPI duo 8-4 to capture the Bombers’ first team point of the day.

On the other hand, Ithaca only managed one singles victory, as Taylor Crain defeated No. 16 regionally rated Alex Mednikova in the No. 1 position. Moreover, She defeated Mednikova in three sets, winning the first 7-6. Also, dropped the second 6-7, and fought back to win the third 11-9.

Therefore, on Sunday, April 24, the Bombers will face Bard College at the Wheeler Tennis Courts. Also, the game versus the Raptors will tip off at 10 a.m.
